1. Acceptance
By accessing or using CVConnect, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CVConnect.
2. What CVConnect provides
CVConnect is a directory and communication platform that helps people discover Coachella Valley businesses and contact them or request quotes. CVConnect is not the employer, agent, partner, contractor, insurer, guarantor, or representative of any listed business or customer.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Business listings and claims
Business information may come from business owners, administrators, or publicly available business information. Owners must have authority to claim and manage a listing and must keep information accurate. CVConnect may approve, deny, suspend, correct, unclaim, or remove a listing or claim when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
5. Quotes, services, and disputes
Quote requests and messages help customers and businesses communicate. They are not guaranteed offers or binding contracts unless the customer and business separately agree. Customers are responsible for evaluating a business, confirming licenses or insurance when relevant, reviewing pricing and scope, and deciding whether to hire. Businesses are solely responsible for their work, employees, pricing, taxes, permits, representations, scheduling, safety, and legal compliance. Disputes about services or payments are between the customer and business.
6. External payments and links
Businesses may provide links to approved third-party payment, booking, website, map, or social services. CVConnect does not process, hold, guarantee, or refund money paid through those external services. Their terms, privacy policies, fees, and dispute processes apply.
7. Verified subscriptions
Verified business access is offered through auto-renewable Apple subscriptions. Available plans may include $9.99 per month and $49.99 per year, subject to the price displayed by Apple at purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Cancellation stops future renewal; access generally continues through the paid period.
- Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies.
Removing, transferring, suspending, or deleting a CVConnect account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage the subscription separately through Apple.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give CVConnect a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service and the listing you manage. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse CVConnect, impersonate another person or business, submit false or unlawful information, harass others, send spam, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy the service at scale, manipulate reviews or metrics, or use CVConnect to facilitate unsafe, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
10. Moderation and termination
CVConnect may investigate reports, restrict content or features, suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, prevent harm, or comply with law. You may stop using CVConnect or delete your account at any time.
11. Disclaimers
CVConnect is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, businesses are qualified, quotes will be received, services will meet expectations, or the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVConnect and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, or damages arising from a customer’s or business’s conduct, services, communications, external payments, or third-party links. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid directly to CVConnect during the 12 months before the claim.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to another legally required forum will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Riverside County, California.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. Material changes will receive additional notice when required.
